has proposed new fundraising guidelines. These have important implications for
small and mid-size charities in particular. Learn more about the guidelines here and respond with your feedback by 1 August, 2008, by email.
Celebrating Young Social Entrepreneurs
Congrats for being recognized, Jess Lax! Co-founder of the Otesha Project, she
is one of 150 young social entrepreneurs around the world to be funded by the
Youth Action Net program. Watch the inspiring 2-minute documentary about her
work and then learn more about social entrepreneurship here.
Congrats on your meaningful work, Benjamin Jordan! Co-founder of Above and
Beyond Canada, he is raising

Congrats on your second cross-continent fundraiser, Push for the Cure! Ben is
also a co-founder of the breast cancer fundraising non-profit, the Push for the
Cure. Ben, Aaron, Rob and Carlos skateboarded on longboards across Canada to raise
money for research in 2007. Now they are longboarding across the US.

Call for Papers, Workshops, Presentations - Correction
The call for papers for the International Conference on Ecology and
Professional Helping has been extended to: 10 October, 2008. The conference
will be held 7-9 May, 2009.

Organize Sports-Themed Climate Change Events During the Olympics
350.org is has an Olympics
campaign in China.
Gather your friends together after an athletic event and take a group
photograph holding a sign saying "350" (the highest acceptable number
of parts per million carbon dioxide) and send it to 350.org before 23 August, 2008.
