Working with Alberta Education
Alberta Education is asking Albertans about the future of education in the province. This is the time to optimize the system for excellent environmental education.
Professional Development
ACEE supports the professional development of environmental educators in Alberta through the following programs:

Supporting Pre-Service Teachers
This project aims to provide Alberta pre-service teachers with more instruction in environmental education so they will integrate environmental education into their teaching throughout their careers.
Creating Networks (project in development)
ACEE aims to support a series of networks in the province to support the advancement of environmental education in Alberta. Stay tuned for more details on this.
Needs Assessments of Environmental Educators
Every year, ACEE conducts two needs assessments, one for agency professionals and a second for teachers. We use the information gathered to refine our services and set the professional development workshops for the next year.
Polling
ACEE has conducted two major polls of Albertans, one of adults and second focused on youth. The findings are interesting and reinforce the need for quality EE in Alberta.
