Environmental Needs Assessment Summary Report
The Alberta Council for Environmental Education (ACEE) conducted this Needs Assessment to help fulfill its mission of working collaboratively to advance environmental education in Alberta. ACEE plans to provide EE professionals and their groups with relevant professional development opportunities. Results from this survey will help inform that work. The goals of this survey were: 1) to find out more about EE professionals and organizations so that ACEE may better support collaborative work, 2) to identify the needs of EE professionals and organizations, 3) to ensure that the ACEE program meets these needs, and 4) to create a baseline data set to help ACEE evaluate the success of its capacity-building program. The survey was composed of four sections: 1) Program Development Needs 2) Organizational Development Needs 3) Non-Profit Groups only 4) Feedback on ACEE
