Inside Education

  • Inside education provides PD opportunities free to members (a membership is $25/ yr).  The Foothills Education Tour, which takes place in October, would be very useful to grade 7 teachers.


Global, Environmental and Outdoor Education Council

  • This council offers workshops for teachers and has a conference coming up April 24-26, 2009 in Jasper.


ATA workshop: Green Street

  • This workshop helps link teachers to environmental resources and assists them in fostering environmental stewardship in their classroom.  This is a free workshop.

  • There are some great PD opportunities offered on this website.  Workshops range from specific topics, such as grizzly bears, to general topics, such as how to organize and environmental field trip.
