The Alberta Council for Environmental Education works with teachers, agency professionals and Albertans to ensure the citizens of our province know what it takes to create the positive environmental future we all know we need.
Here are some of our programs that are advancing environmental education at all levels:
- Professional Development for Alberta teachers so they can effectively incorporate the environment into the classroom,
- Workshops and webinars for professionals working in all types of environmental education – from nature centres to municipalities,
- Working with Alberta Education to ensure the environment and citizenship are key components of the formal education system,
- Hosting an annual leadership clinic that supports organizations in their delivery of quality and effective environmental education.
