Living by Water Project - Conservation Action Marketing Initiative
A workbook is being developed that will outline tips, tools and techniques that the Living by Water BC Project (LbyW) has developed and found to be the most effective in engaging audiences. The workbook, as well as workshops (and future webinars), help other conservation organizations with tips on marketing and being audience-centred, understanding audience needs, communication principles, and working with the media. The project builds on community-based social marketing. This conservation marketing initiative is being led by the BC LbyW office (250 832 7405). LbyW is a national project with regional offices; the Alberta Office can be reached at 780 427 8124 (Federation of Alberta Naturalists).
