Water Education for Alberta Teachers - formal, non-formal and informal teachers

The workshop, is a two day residential workshop to engage Canadian educators (both in the school system, and outside of the school system) aged 20 - 35 in dialogue surrounding current water issues and education in Western Canada. Educators from a variety of subject areas and academic levels will look at why it is critical to include water-related topics in education programs, and investigate the cross-curricular nature of water education, sharing ideas and collaborating to develop tools, strategies and resources.
