Alberta Tomorrow

Alberta Tomorrow is a free, web based simulation developed specifically for Alberta that allows students to explore land use inssues in the province. Based on cutting-edge natural resource management research and technology, the simulation allows students to try to come up with a sustainable development plan for Alberta over the next 100 years. Lesson plans are available for the following Alberta curriculum links: Studies 9 and10, junior high environmental and outdoor education, Science 7 and 20 and Biology 20 . Non-Profit

The mission of Alberta Tomorrow is to educate Albertans in the principles and practices of sustainable development by providing engaging and accessible simulation software that allows students to experience the long-term effects of land use to Alberta’s ecological and socio-economic values. The software is web-based and is linked to the Alberta curriculum.
