Helen Schuler Coulee Centre
Helen Schuler Coulee Centre
The Helen Schuler Coulee Centre is Lethbridge's urban nature centre. Nestled in the Oldman River Valley in Lethbridge, Alberta, the Helen Schuler Coulee Centre has been offering visitors a chance to experience nature first-hand since 1982. We offer year-round interpretive programs, for both organized groups (ie: school groups) and the general public. Our seasonal, hands-on exhibits offer something new for visitors to discover throughout the year as well. Admission is free. Three self-guided trails explore the cottonwood forest and coulees of the Oldman River valley in this 200 acre nature reserve. The Centre offers a wide range of informational services and resources to help you discover more about the local natural history. Individuals interested in taking an active role in their local environment can participate in our volunteer program. Training and mentoring is available for those interested.

Our vision is nature appreciation! We want both children and adults to experience and discover all that the natural environment offers and to understand that it is worthy of our protection.
