Cave & Basin and Banff Park Museum National Historic Sites
Site tours can be tailored to grades and curriculum; more specific to social studies, but can include geology and some biology. At the Cave & Basin you can "Create a Postcard" where students learn about the site and its history and create a postcard to share with family and friends. At the Park Museum students can "Build an Exhibit" .

National historic sites tell a chapter of Canada's history and help us understand Canada as a whole. There are national historic sites in every province and territory in Canada. The Cave & Basin is the birhplace of Canada's national parks. It is also home to the Banff Springs snail, the most endangered species in Banff National Park. The Park Museum is Canada's oldest national park building and is considered a "Museum of a Museum".
