Outward Bound Canada College
OBCC is an educational program that emphasizes experiential and integrated learning. This one- or two-semester residential program provides a challenging academic curriculum focusing on themes of ecoliteracy, combined with outdoor expeditions. Beyond the academics, the OBCC program is designed to foster self-management, leadership, and outdoor skills training. Taught by certified teachers, OBCC is for Grade 11 and 12 students who are independent, interested in the outdoors, and have a desire to succeed academically. Expeditions, including dog sledding, skiing, sea kayaking, white water canoeing, and rock climbing are used in conjunction with academic curriculum to create learning opportunities in and out of the classroom.
