Hinterland Who's Who - Canadian Wildlife Federation

Hinterland Who’s Who is a Canadian wildlife education program that began in the early 60s. In February 2003, the Canadian Wildlife Service of Environment Canada and the Canadian Wildlife Federation joined forces to recreate the series with a fresh look and sound. The result is a series of new Hinterland Who’s Who public-service announcements in both English and French. They feature species such as the polar bear, the monarch, the leatherback sea turtle, and the loon. Hinterland Who’s Who now has a wide range of educational elements, including the traditional T.V. vignettes: an interactive website with feature videos and wildlifesounds, in-depth species description and issues, lesson plans and teacher resources, podcasts and parodies – even a “how-to” to make your own Hinterland Who’s Who wildlife video!
