Ann and Sandy Cross Conservation Area
The Ann and Sandy Cross Conservation Area is a 4800 acre nature preserve located southwest of Calgary. It is home to over 565 species of wildlife and offers quality education programs for all ages. Students in Grades 1-9 can experience nature firsthand through our experiential, curriculum-based, dayschool Nature Discovery programs on topics ranging from insects to forests. With our Chevron Open Minds program ten classes a year enjoy a week exploring issues surrounding a year-long independent study. Families, adults, and children can also get involved in nature exploration and conservation issues at our Conservation Education programs and Nature Safari Day Camps.
