Clean Air Champions

Clean Air Champions is a national charity that aims to educate and motivate Canadians to adopt practices and lifestyles that enhance both environmental and personal health. What makes CAC unique is our Champions - national, Olympic and Paralympic athletes who deliver our message. These top athletes are passionate about physical activity and the health of our environment. Their involvement in CAC and personal stories inspire others to get active. Our curriculum-based multidisciplinary program, Clean Air Achievers, provides a fun and interactive opportunity for students in Grades 6 - 9 to explore transportation choices and the resulting impacts on air quality, climate change and health. Teachers receive all program materials, orientation and ongoing support at no cost. Champions visit the school twice - to kick off the program and to celebrate the success of the students. CAA will be launched in Alberta in January 2008. Visit www.cleanairachievers.ca for more information and to register your class!
