Parks in the Classroom

Developed and offered by Alberta Parks, Parks in the Classroom is an outreach education program dedicated to fostering environmental understanding, appreciation and stewardship in young Albertans. Designed to engage and educate students using a variety of mediums, this unique program features three distinct parts: a hilarious curricula-based musical theatre show, fun and interactive classroom sessions, and outdoor field sessions which immerse students in an experiential learning environment while challenging them to explore, discover and apply their knowledge. All aspects of the program address the Alberta Education Science and Social Studies Curriculum for multiple elementary grade levels and topics.
