Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park is an island forest in SouthEast Alberta and SouthWest Saskatchewan. The dramatic landscape offers breathtaking scenery, forest, grassland and wetland habitats, abundant wildlife, and excellent visitor services. Government
Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park is Canada's first Interprovincial Park, and includes parks in Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Fort Walsh (Parks Canada). Recently designated as a Dark-Sky Preserve, the park protects a significant landscape consisting of forest, grassland, and wetland habitats. Park Interpreters deliver education programs year-round, on-site, in regional communities, and via distance learning technology.
