We help deliver on this Framework outcome:
Outcome 2-6: Families and members of the public receive more EE; and the non-formal EE stakeholder community is better networked and strengthenedWhat we are currently doing to deliver on the outcome:
- Membership with the Society of Educational Resource Groups (SERG) and affiliation with ACEE
- Current focus on providing EE opportunities to non-formal groups
In the future we plan to deliver on the outcome by:
- Organize a gathering of local EE providers to share knowledge, network and provide training opportunities
- Pursue partnerships to provide further EE opportunities
- Increase the human resources in our department that are dedicated to EE
- Connect with Alberta Parks partners and CPAWS
Measures of success:
- More partnerships formed
- Diversified opportunities that are offered by our programs
- Increased public support for new EE initiatives
- Documented success with collaborators
- Increased cohesion in EE community

The Kananaskis Country Environmental Education staff provide environmental education programs for students grades 4-11, on subjects like "Plant Growth & Changes", "Waste & the Natural World", "A Sense of Place", "Biological Diversity" and "Winter Ecology".Other partners or collaborators:
