Inglewood Community of Environmental Educators

We help deliver on this Framework outcome:

Outcome 1-7: Collaborative work helps advance environmental education within the groups’ chosen focus.

What we are currently doing to deliver on the outcome:

  • We have met with 12 neighboring organizations and identified some ways to collaborate.

In the future we plan to deliver on the outcome by:

  • Learn more about others' programs by visiting each other's sites to identify potential ways to collaborate
  • Establish a means of regular communication and meeting schedule
  • Define effective collaboration
  • Create a collective vision and mission for protecting the natural wild lands in collaboration that draws on the missions of member groups
  • Community event featuring each of the member organizations
  • Prepare a document that highlights the success stories of each organization

Measures of success:

  • Review the number of collaborations among ICEE members
  • Evaluate teacher/community feedback on the initiative and which other projects are in place
